Çiftlik Tavukçuluk which was founded by Ekrem Atak
in 1974 entered the sector withlaying hen . Almost two years Ekrem
Atak reared laying hens in the coops and sold eggs to the market as
an independent seller. In 1976 he started his first broiler production
in the same coops and by slaughtring broiler in the slaughterhouse
which he founded near the coops he started to sell chicken meat to
Istanbul's market. His first customers were Mintax detergent factories,
Örenbayan string factories and Supsan motor's valves factories.
He reared chickens and made their slaughter in Halkalı about six years.
However, some legal necessities occured in Halkalı because of its
development, he moved coops and slaughterhouse to the İkitelli Organized
İndustrial Zone in 1986. During five years he used old machines for
slaughter here and then in 1991 by he dealt with İstanbul Makser firm
he founded his slaughterhouse in which it has been used dry-plucking
machines.
All
costumers were very pleased with his productions, but on the other
hand he hardly found chickens. But then with his son Kadir Atak's
attempt he met Adapazarı-Bolu- Mudurnu zone known as homeland of chicken
raisers and he has started to make chickens production since1993.
Altın Çiftlik has doubled its production each year and by importing
automatic chicken slaughter and process machines from Meyn firm in
Netherland in 1998 it has made dry-plucking and slaughter more active
and hygienic.
Altın Çiftlik Tavukçuluk
today presents its dry-plucking chicken and chicken meat with its
poultry farms in Adapazarı-Bolu zone, modern slaughterhause in İkitelli
Organized Industrial Zone in İstanbul, large delivery web and eight
factories point of sale.
